Shadow of Autumn

Crimson King Maple leaf and shadow on dining table.  (November 2011)

I am joining Hey Harriet on her Shadow Shot Sunday blog which shares shadowy photography by both amateur and professional photographers, world wide.  Won't you stop by and see what catches your eye?

A beautiful leaf Shirley - the last we'll see this year... we are in the city but heading north this morning. I really dislike winter and will be glad to stay off the highways for awhile...

Hello there Shirley and what a gorgeous shot of this leaf against the wood grain !
We have a Crimson King in the front yard and several trees in the back .. but we have that awful "Black Tar Spot" fungus in the neighbourhood so it leaves a polka dot affect .. not harmful to the trees gladly but the leaves look crazy ? LOL

I love the shadows that the leaves make Shirley...

It just takes one leaf in the right place to make a great shadow shot.

As to your comment on my blog, my picture,SSS,is current. All this week we have had 82 degree heat. The plants and flowers do not know what to do. It may drop to 70 tomorrow they said. Texas is drying up.

With havin so much content do you ever run into any issues of plagorism
or copyright infringement? My site has a lot of exclusive content I've either authored myself or outsourced but it appears a lot of it is popping it up all over the web without my permission. Do you know any methods to help reduce content from being stolen? I'd truly
appreciate it.
My web site ; cool article topics
